What are the membership requirements?

Persons working in the aviation industry and other related companies, their families, or persons living in communities close to the airport (e.g. Harbor View, Port Royal, Windward Road in Kingston and Norwood, Flankers, Leaders Ave in Montego Bay).

To become a member, simply complete an ‘Application for Membership’ form, produce a valid ID (drivers license, passport or national ID), pay an entrance fee of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) and an initial amount not less than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00), which represents 50 shares.

 
How can payments be made to my account?
By salary deduction , post dated cheques, postal order, through the Quick Cash Money Transfer service, People2People, standing order payments from other financial institutions or payment directly to the cashier at either of our offices.
 
If I die will my beneficiaries have to assume payment on my loan?
If your loan is $600,000 or less, the insurance the Credit Union bought on your behalf will pay the entire loan balance. Your beneficiaries will also get multiples of your savings if death was due to natural causes, illness or by accident. In the event of permanent disabilities, claims will be made under the Loan Protection insurance.
 
Can I change my beneficiaries at any time?
Yes, by completing the nomination section on the ‘Application for Membership ’ form.
 
Can I make payments to the office in Montego Bay even though I joined at your Kingston office?
Yes. Payments can be made to either of our offices for any purpose.
