Our History

Palisadoes Co-op Credit Union Ltd was registered on April 21 1953, and was incorporated specifically for airport workers and their families. Since its inception, the Credit Union operated from its head office located at Norman Manley Int’l Airport (formerly Palisadoes Int’l Airport). Its bond has subsequently widened to include relatives of persons working in the aviation industry (wherever they may live) and persons living in communities contiguous to the airports and aerodromes. This includes (but not limited to) communities such as Bull Bay, Windward Road, Harbour View, Port Royal in Kingston and Flankers, Norwood, Lilliput and Coral Gardens in Montego Bay.
